Considering your next move after AmeriCorps? Have you thought about going abroad? As you explore your options for next steps post-AmeriCorps, you might consider leveraging the skills and perspectives that you’ve gained and honed during your term of service in the United States by seeking to apply them on a global scale, contributing to such fields as international aid and development and partnering with community organizations, institutions, and fellow global citizens around the world. AmeriCorps Alums is offering a webinar to learn more about your options for engaging in meaningful, effective service and work abroad, from volunteering overseas to international education to global careers.  Tuesday, April 30th from 12PM to 1PM Eastern Daylight Savings time.  Click here to register and learn more.

AmeriCorps Week is coming up March 9-17. Whether you're serving in AmeriCorps now or are an alum, this week is all about sharing the important work you've done at SCA with parents, friends, librarians, convenience store clerks -- anyone who will listen!

SCA Massachusetts is hiring for a 5 month trail crew position starting March 10. Join this AmeriCorps program and learn trail skills; carpentry, chainsaw, or griphoist; and advanced wilderness first aid. Then set out across the state of Massachusetts, from Cape Cod to the Berkshires to do trail projects. Apply here!

I wear the polos when I am at the office or dealing with the public in the visitor center, but I wear the quick dry when I am out in the field, and will wear the long slevee out in the field this fall...
