Centenary College hosts panel discussion, viewing of 'Groundswell Rising'

Centenary College will be hosting a panel discussion and showing the film “Groundswell Rising, Protecting Our Children’s Air and Water” at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 3, at the Little Theatre of the Edward W. Seay Administration Building (400 Jefferson Street, Hackettstown).

This event is held in conjunction with the Skylands Group of the New Jersey Sierra Club Chapter.

“Groundswell Rising, Protecting Our Children’s Air and Water,” the new documentary from Emmy Award-winning Resolution Pictures, captures the passion of people engaged in a David and Goliath confrontation.

Join YNPN-TC later this month for a volunteer and member appreciation event at the Minneapolis Institute of Arts.

What's in store for members and volunteers?

The night includes a brief dating-style skit about the different committees that make up YNPN-TC and then a scavenger hunt throughout the MIA. We’ll conclude the night with a brief, but special, volunteer recognition presentation in honor of April's National Volunteer Week.

You don't have to be a current volunteer to join us for this event! Whether you're a member, a current or past volunteer, a member who is interested in volunteering, or you're just a huge fan of scavenger hunts - we hope you can join us for this very fun event!

Registration and networking will open at 5:30, and the event will begin at 6.

Date: Thursday, April 24, 2014

Time: 5:30 PM - 8 PM

Location: Minneapolis Institute of Arts, 2400 3rd Ave S, Minneapolis, 55404
